Woodmark Homes was founded in May of 2006 by Mark Beard and Jeff Wood. Mark has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry, the first 5 of those years being the owner of his own firm. On the other end, after 16 years as a real estate investor and Certified Public Accountant, Jeff decided it was time to hang up the tie and follow his dreams. So with that, Mark and Jeff (long-time friends) started Woodmark Homes, LLC.
Woodmark Homes is continually changing with the building industry. Years ago our industry was limited to a few basic styles and a select amount of building materials. Modern design was considered very forward thinking. In today’s market we are only limited to our imagination. Styles of architecture are integrated and building materials are continually changing, being created, and pushing the boundaries of what they can be used for. We have chosen a “why not” approach to these new technologies. We are as excited today as we were when we started with the challenges of our industry and what the future has in store.
